Countless people have touched my life throughout time and it’s impossible for me not to feel the need to dedicate a special section of this website to remember each and every one of them.
I thank them for being who they are and who they choose to be every day.
They are very special people and I would like them to know the impact they had on my life:
Jeff of Danbury Hospital.
I call him the “physical therapist of the soul”.
He has been an inspiration to me since the very beginning.
He doesn’t just take care of your body: he takes care of your heart and he cares about how you feel from the inside out.
I met him during my first stay in the hospital and I felt, from the very beginning, that he was someone quite special.
He took care of me as a person and not just as a patient.
He was present for me in many ways and his words left a mark in my heart.
He is a very compassionate, kind and sensitive person with a soft voice and a reassuring smile.
Dr. Greenberg, a doctor at Johns Hopkins Hospital that seems to always find the time to write a nice word and do a kind gesture, someone that, even with a very busy schedule, finds the time to answer to my many questions and keep in touch like a friend would do. He makes me smile and laugh, he shares with me the
latest research and gives me lots of hope for the future. It's a pleasure to see him and to talk to him and I am so very grateful to have found him!
My special friend, that prefers to remain anonymous, who helped me create this wonderful project and who gave me the opportunity to look at life in a whole new way.
Because of her, I will never give up and I will continue to keep strong and positive.
Thanks to her, I learned what the real meaning of giving is.
She taught me to believe that there is much more of me than my MS and she made me realize that who I am will never change because of this disease.
Deborah, faithful friend, so far away, but so close to my heart!
Our friendship has lasted through a lifetime of changes, challenges and unforgettable moments.
From school to work, from Italy to America, our relationship has remained strong and unbreakable.
She saw me growing, learning, changing, becoming… and she has been there for me throughout it all.
My dear teacher Maria Sofia Seneca, who wasn’t just a teacher for me, but was a mentor, a friend, a true inspiration.
Special people in my life
